Book TreatmentMultiple dental implants, available at our Stafford dental practice, are prosthetic teeth with a titanium screw base that get inserted directly into the jawbone. Missing teeth are more than a cosmetic issue. Your jawbone’s strength is dependent on its interaction with your teeth, and missing teeth can lead to areas of bone loss, weakening the shape and function of the jaw.
Don’t wait any longer to restore your smile. Schedule a consultation via our online form with our qualified Stafford dental specialists today to learn more about how multiple implants can improve your oral health and confidence.
At Stella Dental, we offer our clients the best treatments available, and implants are the gold standard of dental restorations. Dental implants, including implant-supported bridges and implant-retained dentures, form as strong a bond with your jaw as natural teeth, and if looked after properly can last for decades or even a lifetime. We restore and protect your smile by offering dental implants for incisors and molars.

While other restorations might restore function and can look almost as natural as a tooth, dental implants have several unique benefits, including:
Answer
Made from titanium, dental implants are extremely strong, highly durable, and fuse directly with your jawbone. Once placed, the bone ossifies around the implants, further strengthening the bond. Without question, dental implants are the longest lasting, most natural-looking and durable dental restoration on the market today.
Answer
Along with greater durability and protecting your jaw, dental implants have an important added advantage over bridges – that they won’t harm your surrounding teeth. A dental bridge is anchored to the teeth on either side of the gap left by a missing tooth, causing inevitable damage to the enamel. Dental implants are anchored to the jawbone and are not attached in any way to other teeth.
Answer
There are numerous types of implants available at our Stafford dental practice including:
Single/multiple dental implants consist of a titanium screw that is placed directly into the jawbone, allowing the implant to fuse to the surrounding bone. Once healed, a replacement tooth can be placed on top.
Implant-supported bridges in Stafford are similar to traditional dental bridges, except implants on either side support the central teeth. At Stella Dental, implant-supported bridges can naturally replace multiple missing teeth.
Answer
If you have two or more missing teeth and sufficient volume in the jawbone, you are highly likely to be suitable for dental implants. Our implant specialist will examine your mouth and jaw, consult your medical history, and take X-rays and a CT scan to ensure multiple dental implants would be right for you.
Answer
The areas of gum around your implants will be tender after surgery. To protect the tissue during the healing process, and to ensure your implants form the strongest bond with your jaw, you will need to eat a carefully curated diet, which will initially consist of soft, protein-rich foods such as yoghurts and smoothies. As time goes on and the healing process continues, you will be able to return to your normal diet. We will give you dietary instructions for each stage of recovery during your consultation.
Answer
The surgery required to place the implants is minor and is carried out using local anaesthetic. Any post-surgical discomfort should also be minimal and can be managed with over-the-counter pain relief.
